We rise with the sun, and after a simple breakfast of rice congee and savory baozi, which is a type of dumpling that consists of a soft, fluffy outer layer of dough and a variety of fillings such as meat (usually pork), vegetables, or sweet fillings like fruit or red bean paste. Baozi is usually steamed, giving it a soft, tender texture and a slightly sweet flavor. It is often eaten for breakfast or as a snack, and is considered a comfort food in China.
As we approach the entrance to the canyon, we are greeted by the towering peaks and lush forests that surround it, and a sense of excitement and anticipation begins to build within us.
We don our comfortable shoes and begin our descent into the canyon. The path before us winds through the rocks and trees, and as we make our way deeper into the canyon, we are surrounded by the magnificent beauty of the landscape.
We pause at a gentle stream that winds its way through the canyon, and we can't help but to be enchanted by its tranquil beauty. We sit and rest by the water's edge, and enjoy a simple snack of dried fruits and nuts. The air is filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers, and the distant chirping of birds can be heard.
As we continue our journey, we come across breathtaking vistas and towering peaks, and we are filled with a sense of awe and wonder. We feel as though we have stepped into a world unlike any other, where the beauty of nature and the mystery of the Orient intertwine.
